A: Fairly clear orange-straw body, looks crisp! Individual, singular bubbles rise- no streams, even weak ones. Big large-bubble cream-colored head forms fairly easily.

S: Heavy on golden apples and bananas, some bready body in there, slightly yeasty. Clean. Only glimpses of spices.

T: MMM! Those great refreshing fruit notes, now with the addition of oranges, buttery biscuit, close-to-spicy spices like cinnamon and coriander. Almost floral. Some kind of herbacious/mineral notes on the finish, which transitions back to the apples. Great balance, depth, and complexity here, but not so complex that you're only trying to analyze it; it lets you enjoy it. No telling it has such a high ABV until you're on your third.

M: Smooth, creamy, with pleasant effervescence. Slightly mouth-drying, but still crisp. Combined with that palate of flavors and you crave another gulp.

O: The beer that got me interested in craft beers! Easy to enjoy, fun to decrypt, readily available, neat packaging, efficient inebriator, pairs well with many foods or by itself... scores high in all areas. A beer I go back to again and again, and am never disappointed by. Highly highly recommended!

A- Pours with a nice thick head with some tasty looking lace. Hazy yellow and copper appearance

S- Nice and refreshing balance of citrus, banana esters, yeast and very, very slight nutmeg spice note.

T- Banana and citrus blending very well together. Refreshing carbonation. Substantial but not overly weighty.

O- Great Belgian triple from Canada. Almost as good as St. Bernardus ABT 12 but at a fraction of the price. If you like this kind of beer you can't go wrong. Cool label too.

A - Super huge head, almost snow-white. Brew is thick and hazy, orange-golden color. Very thick and lasting lacing, and head retention is solid.

S - Thick creamy notes of banana, clove, coriander, spice, and candi. Slight acrid hop notes, as well. Just a ton going on in the aroma.

T - Sweet and creamy, following the nose. Pronounced sweet yeast flavors, while the spices come in on the back end. Again, bananas, some slight citrus fruit on the tip of the tongue, huge fruity malt character filling the mouth.

M - Full, clingy, oily; no sting, no foaming, no alcohol presence. Lingering aftertaste is pleasant.

O - This is not a subtle Tripel; there's quite a bit going on. Everything you'd expect is there, however, and every flavor is tasty. I can see what the (Uni)broue-ha-ha is about. This isn't my favorite Tripel, but it's very good.

Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at James Joyce in Ybor City. Served in a pint glass for some reason.

A: Rich orangish-tan, nearly opaque, with a thin half-finger of light tan head and low visible carbonation.

S: Fruity yeast esters (bananas, apples and grapes mostly), cloves, roasted malts, and some booze. Some spice with almost a woody dryness here as well.

T: Fruity (banana, cherry, apple, grape) Belgian yeast esters, some toasted malts, cloves and spice, sweet but with a dry finish.

M: Medium body for style, a good bit of carbonation, and the alcohol is noticeable but doesn't seem overly hot.

O: This is quite good, although it doesn't quite stand up to the best in the style. Still, very enjoyable and I don't know why I haven't had it before.
