341ml bottle poured into a 16oz goblet.

A - Pours an effervescent golden-orange, with a surprisingly fizzy, short-lived head of white bubbles. Lots of haze hanging around in the glass from the yeast. I'm a little shocked at the total lack of head here after a few minutes; it just doesn't look right...

S - A little different than what I was expecting, and not nearly as pungent an aroma as I had anticipated. Still, the aroma present is very nice. Ripe fruits, citrus, bready wheat, and that distinct spicy/floral Unibroue house yeast. Less spices, grassy hops, and crisp dryness than I'm used to with this style. This reminds me a lot of two other Unibroue beers, in Blonde de Chambly and La Gaillarde.

T - Follows the nose quite a bit, although the flavors are a little more pronounced than the aroma. Fruitiness upfront, with apple, peach, and lots of citrus. Tons of yeast, spicy and floral, and delicious. Very bready, and less spicy than most tripels, although the dry spiciness does appear in the finish, along with a subtle grassy hop and crisp wheat flavor. Alcohol is minimal. Overall a delicious brew.

M - Excellent mouthfeel. Creamy smooth, yet crisp and refreshing. The body definitely carries some weight, but it isn't syrupy or oily at all. Bubbly carbonation, although not too much so. Yeasty residue builds up on the palate after a while.

D - A complex but accessible tripel from one of my favorite breweries. I can't help but feel a touch disappointed in the end though. While this is definitely a world class beer, and one of the best tripels period, this didn't totally blow me away, and it wasn't really miles apart from similar offerings from Unibroue. I would consider Blonde de Chambly, La Gaillarde, and Eau Benite to be, in ways, quite comparable to La Fin Du Monde. But that's no knock on this brew, as I've enjoyed all of those afformentioned comparisons immensely.

A- Darker and more yellow than a wit, sizable white head at pour, steady carbonation (small bubbles) keeps it present. Fairly clear.

S- Good smell. Slight spice, very wit-like.

T- A lot going on. A wheatiness, a bit medicinal, bubble gum, some coriander ... slight banana.

M- Medium-bodied, rather smooth with just slightest dry feel.

O- Very tasty and more complex than most.

From notes
A - hazy golden orange, tall fluffy white head retained well, respectable lacing remains
S - big yeasty esters of banana & clove, not yet ripened citrus, mild medicine like phenols, light boozy aroma
T - much like the nose with the added presence of leafy hops and dry grainy malts, somewhat more active booziness but it complements the other flavours here
M - big carbonation creaminess, somewhat tart and puckering, but generally smooth
O - an outstanding flagship brew from DDC, I have enjoyed this off an on over the years before I was ever a beer geek, and will continued to do so with appreciation and gratitude

Has a bright golden color with exploding carbonation. Standard foam cap here, not particular dense or long lasting.
Aroma wise I get a white beer. All the aromatics point towards wit beer type spices.
Taste is rather densent. In between a wit and tripel. Corrinder and celery seed with spice malts followed by smooth tripel action.
To me this drinks like a wit tripel I like it.
