I am somewhat new to the triple scene, about a year or so. I have tried about 40 triples and this is by far the best to date. I keep hearing there are places that serve this on tap in my area (MN) but I have yet to find them. I recommend La Fin Du Monde to everyone I know.

This is my favorite beer by far.

Poured a bottle into a Duvel Tulip glass.

Great looking beer. It rivaled Duvel for foamy head, and had beautiful lacing. Head settles down to about a quarter inch that lasted throughout. Not quite as chunky as Duvel. Opaque, orangish yellow color.

Aroma was very Belgian. Yeasty, sugary, fruity.

Tasted much like liquid bubblegum, with some hints of orange and candy. Very well balanced.

Nice mouthfeel. Light carbonation. An excellent finish, leaving the mouth clean and wanting more.

This is an excellent beer. Well balanced, and each sip leaves you wanting more. A little strong to drink a lot of, but an excellent choice that I will buy again.

A- Pours a cloudy yellow with a slight orange hue. Head is about two inches, drops to about a quarter inch after a minute, lacing is light for a tripel. Very inviting!

S- Not as complex as a tripel should be. Pears, citrus(orange mostly), and a sour dough funk.

T- At first it taste like orange-pineapple juice, as it warms on the tongue the yeast kicks in, there is some spice(maybe coriander), just a little funky, a slight banana aftertaste.

M- Creamy but not as creamy as a trip should be. All most perfect balance between flavor, body, and carbonation.

D- This as drinkable as a beer can get for me. Alcohol is transparent. Very refreshing, cant wait to have one of theses on a hot summer night.

Notes- This was my first non Belgian Tripel. Its all most perfect. It has a best by date of 12/12 so Im assuming its really fresh.
