A-cloudy opaque gold with a foamy white head; good retention and lacing

S-fruity esters abound. Banana and yeast are strong

T-marches hand in hand with the aroma's dominant characteristics

M- thinner but it holds up well to the strong flavors. A slight bubble on the tongue

O-a truly delicious Belgian-style Tripel

Good Belgian Tripel that exudes the belgian yeast flavor and aroma.

A: A nice orange color with a solids 1 1/2 finger head.

S: A sweet and yeasty aroma that is indicative of the Belgian style.

T: A sweet well balanced Tripel with the presence of well proportioned spice notes.

M: Good mouth feel with a nice level of carbonation .

Overall: A well conceived Tripel. Not my typical type of beer, but a nice change of pace, and very enjoyable.

12oz bottle poured into a stemmed tulip glass.

A- Hazy golden-orange color, big and fluffy white-colored head. Minimal lacing. Carbonation bubbles rise, yeast sediment settles. Attractive.

S- Light fruits and spices, peppery and floral. The sweet and sour funky yeast aroma is direct from Belgium, per se. It's complex and powerfully aromatic.

T- Banana, pear, tart fruit and yeast flavors. Some spices, clove, sugary too.

M-Tingly and tart. Medium body and carbonation. Sour with a candied finish.

O- A lot of beers deliver 9.0 abv, this one completes the formula with the looks, aromas, and flavors of a true Tripel.

Bottle at Ava's in Easton, MD. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a creamy white head in a Chimay glass. Aroma of pears, spice, yeast. Flavor follows with lots of fresh juicy pears, honey, some spice, and lingering yeast ones on the palate. Medium bodied, slightly dry finish yet still juicy, adequate carbonation. Such am easy drinking really world class brew.
