this tripel really focuses on the yeast and Belgian characteristics.

A-slightly cloudy ,pours orange-ish copper with a nice foamy head.

S- bananas yeast clove bready alcohol

T-well balanced on the sweeter /heavier side. remnants of a hefeweizen in this brew with the banana / cloves...tasty and very crisp but a little TOO sweet for me to session, but still highly drinkable even a 9%abv.

M-nice carbonation with a fruity ,tangy, spicy type freshness...very, very easy to drink.

O- overall this is a great beer that is very well balanced and very well crafted.
I keep it around for when I only want one or two beers at night.

purchased at winn Dixie in marco island,fl for 8.99$ for a 4pk. ,sometimes they place it in the make your own 6pack /mix-n-match area for 8.99...whatever they say. lol

Somewhat heavy mouthfeel, not as light as I remembered it - might have been something about me drinking it straight out of the bottle.

The head was a bit more diffuse than I remember it, but was fairly durable, especially considering that it came out of a bottle. Color was a deep golden, fairly translucent.

This is a beer that I'll always enjoy, but it's a bit too heavy for me. Given its similarity to a hefeweizen, I'd probably grab a Weihenstephaner instead. That isn't much of a knock, since the other is one of my favorites, but as the former is widely available, it does mean I won't buy this often going forward.

A- Hazy gold. Pours out with a thick head even with a slow pour, but it subsides and a hint of foam lingers afterwards
S- Sweet fruits and a full blast of Belgian yeast; slight hint of alcohol
T- Strikes the perfect balance of sweet and bitterness. Other tripels I've had have been a bit too bitter for my taste, but this sublime beer finds that sacred balance.
M- medium, appropriate carbonation; slightly sticky - the taste lingers nicely
O- Easily in my top 3 beers; Unibroue sure knows what they're doing!
