Darkish straw color, a bit hazy/cloudy. Pours a nice head with a tremendous amount of bubbles that never stop.

Has a spicy smell of cloves mixed in with some fruits, apples and pears come to mind. The scent could pass for champagne.

While I can't pick up either apples or pears in the taste, I could pick up the tartness from the fruits. A bit of a peppery taste.

There's a real refreshing crispness to the beer. It tries to start off smooth, but with the spices and tart fruit, it ends with a bit of a bite that extends well into the swallow. A good drink year yound, but would be exceptional in the warmer months.

This is a good beer and it's easy to drink despite the spices, tartness, and the high alcohol that you'd never guess to be that high.

I drank this tripel out of my snifter at cellar temperature.

Upon pouring, a large three-finger, pure white cloud for a head and a slightly hazy, bright straw-gold color. Looks like a Belgian ale, all right.

An aroma of green apples, grapes, yeast, and earth. Some flowers in there too. Pleasant.

The flavor, to me, is straight-forward and simple, but also excellent. 'Tis the beer equivalent of a perfect loaf of white bread, that basic food which is so taken for granted despite its necessity. Long into the finish, I also get a little taste of white wine.

It feels like a Belgian ale. What did you expect from a tripel? Bubbly.

Very nice. Nice enough that I'd drink this one anytime.
