I rather like this one. One of the few fruit beers I can stomach. Not often, but, it is still a good beer in my book.
Pours a hazy golden straw color.
Sour granny smith apple aroma, with a wheaty backbone. Slightly yeasty as well.
Tart, sweet and a bit dry on the mouthfeel. Champagne like effervescence, a bit subdued, but still evident.
Nice offering from Unibroue.

A: Pours a hazy medium yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and some golden apricot + brassy highlights. The beer has a half finger tall fizzy foamy off-white head that reduces to a small patch of thin film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of crisp slightly sweet green apples over the top of hints of pale malts and just a touch of spicy Belgian yeast.
T: Upfront there is a light flavor of pale malts with moderate flavors of both sweet and tart green apples. Light distinctive flavors of Belgian yeast adding a hint of fruitiness and spices. Minimal amounts of bitterness in the finish which fades very quickly.
M: Light bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp.
O: Refreshing and easy to drink - a very nice beer for a hot summer day.
