From a tap @ Stubbies in Gainesville in a Unibroue nonic.

Very hazy golden color with a one-finger white head that was very foamy, decent retention that left a very nice lacing down the glass.

Sweet and sour apples on the nose, almost candy like. Not a whole lot else. Not sure if the bottle is different but the aroma was strong.

Tasted of sweet and sour apples, again almost candy like. A little bit of a breadiness that showed that was likely due to the yeast but apples stole the show here.

Mouthfeel was nice, the carbonation was right on with this one and the bready taste also made for a nice chewiness in the mouth.

Very easy to drink, had it with currywurst and apple sauce and it went great with the meal. Had no problem drinking the pint and would have asked for another if it weren't for work in a few hours.

Serving type: on-tap

A: Pours a hazy medium yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and some golden apricot + brassy highlights. The beer has a half finger tall fizzy foamy off-white head that reduces to a small patch of thin film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of crisp slightly sweet green apples over the top of hints of pale malts and just a touch of spicy Belgian yeast.

T: Upfront there is a light flavor of pale malts with moderate flavors of both sweet and tart green apples. Light distinctive flavors of Belgian yeast adding a hint of fruitiness and spices. Minimal amounts of bitterness in the finish which fades very quickly.

M: Light bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp.

O: Refreshing and easy to drink - a very nice beer for a hot summer day.
