I tried that beer because in the first place I through it was a cider. It was not a cider at all. But anyways I m like why not give it a try. I can tel u that this beer have a strong smell of apple but a nice texture a nice look. The problem of this beer is that the apple taste is too present for my taste. If there is more alcohol like 7 or 8% the taste of the apple will be less stronger that the reason why I give a 3,25 out of 5.
Would I recommend it ? Yes why not ..

Okay, simply a light summer beer with a big dose of green apple up front. Would try again on tap, but would probably just prefer some Franziskaner.

Jun 2013 From bottle At home. Tulip glass. Just as I remember it. Perfect Granny Smith apple notes gently overlaid on an easy Belgian single foundation. The appleness dissipates quickly enough but there is a bit of lack of ID in the finish. A bit like a whisper. You get the message, but...Great w/pork. Major points for being unique with out trying too hard.

06/09/12 At Shorty's, NYC. Had the bottle & liked it (Still waiting to kiss a girl.) On tap it's a much brighter flavor. Not too sweet but the green apple essence is in the house. Nice texture. Not too syrupy. Now to try it w/one of Shorty's Pork roast pork sammies.

A - Yellowish with a pillowy head that dissipates quickly to a thin, speckled white layer.
S - Green apple dominates with the subtlest hint of yeast.
T - Green apple, again, dominates with a noticeably bready finish.
M - Medium bodied with a crisp finish.
O - One-noted. Not something I'd reach for regularly, but credit is due for the fact that this is a green apple beer not trying to disguise itself as something else.
