750 C&C with BBD 6/8/2012. Wait, is that June 8 or August 6? Who gives a rat's ass, the shit's in the glass...
I like the way this looks. Egg-white head that's over a finger; it reduces to a single finger with a huge, uneven chunky seam. Body color is apricot-honey - very bright. A fair amount of cascading carbonation moves slowly up the glass; lacing is moderate to solid.
Scent is exceptionally fruity from the excellent yeast electricity - maybe peaches and the aforementioned apricots with a tinge or orange zest. Slight, slight hop pine doesn't disappoint. Sweetness in a bit of a boozy burn.
Now the spice comes out - a little ginger, clove and coriander...y'know, the usual suspects...along with that bitter orange zest and light malts...along with some mellow Styrian Goldings. This is exceptionally clean and the ample carbonation aids the spice profile immensely.
Probably one of the most well-balanced Belgian ales I've encountered in a while - it has some spring in its step, along with some mild malt and hop profile. Finishes very evenly and calmly, yet full of life.
I've had this before but haven't taken the time to really think about it. This is really an excellent brew that's one of the most enjoyable to drink - it isn't pretending to be anything but very good, yet it can be enjoyed by n00bs and true beer geeks alike. Awesome!

Very smooth, sweet, doesn't taste very beer like. It's pretty good but its just not my type of beer. As you drink more it gets better, but I guess all alcohol's like that. Reminds me of wine so don't buy it if you're not into that sort of thing. C
