Presentation: 12 oz. foil-capped bottle poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance: Absolutely amazing in its appearance. Almost neon-yellow in color, this is an opaque, cloudy beer. Pours with a great head that leaves a thin lacing on the glass.
Aroma: Smells a bit like stewed bananas. Some corriander notes are picked up, as well as a musky yeast aroma.
Taste & Mouthfeel: The body is exceptionally creamy and smooth. A fruitiness similar to bananas and nectarines is detected, coupled with some estery and almost pepper-like notes. The malts in this beer become much more noticable as the beer stands and warms up a bit.
Overall: Another top-of-the-line beer from Unibroue. Highly recommended!
