Pours a hazy, almost luminescent gold. The head is tall, white and fine. It last a while.
The nose is a wonderful swirl of lemony, sugary, yeasty goodness with an exotic, spicy tinge.
The flavors are abundant, bright and delicious. More importantly, they are in balance. Lemon, sugar, spice, mineral and alcohol play their parts. There is a butterscotch note lurking around as well. I always love a beer with big flavors and elusive ones also.
The alcohol asserts itself the most in the finish, and it doesn't take long to feel warm and fuzzy when drinking this one.
