Poured into a Chimay chalice with around a finger of quick fading white head. Lovely golden wheat color with just a hint of orange. Initial bouquet of dry champagne, strong aroma of sparkling apple cider.
High carbonation and a very light mouthfeel, again reminiscent of dry champagne. Not overly sweet, detected notes of lemon zest, banana, and a bit of yeasty bitterness.
The ABV is almost undetectable, and the effervescent dryness makes this one of the more refreshing Belgians I've sampled.
