Vibrant orange with a strong attractive head. Very fine carbonation, champagne like. Great retention.
The nose scream fruits, tropical mainly. So very fruity - banana, mango and some sweet candied pineapple. Peppery spice comes into play as well. Some hints of cardamon. Very nice.
Strong Belgian flavours on the palate with a fair whack of the tropical fruits found on the nose. Clove, pineapple and sharp white wine/Riesling aftertaste. Peppery and hot-ish finish.
Creamy mouthfeel - very classy carbonation. A little hollow on the finish. Can get a little cloying.
Great beer, sharp and predominate yeast flavours, but well done. Gains complexity as it warms. Worthy of a high score and a try.
