My first time to drink this beer.
Yellow golden pour into a La Fin du Monde tulip. White head sticks around for a bit but eventrually disappears and leaves minimal lacing.
Phenols on the nose, along with some yeast and some kind of sweet fruit. A bit dryer than La Fin du Monde, a little fruitier than Duvel, but still very tasty in its own way.
Tart apples, some bitter orange and alcohol dominate the flavors.
Lushly carbonated mouthfeel, but soft at the same time.
Easy to drink. The abv is not evident yet, but I'm sure that I'll feel it shortly.
My favorite beer from Unibroue is still La Fin du Monde, but this one is well worth revisiting. The more I drink it, the more it grows on me.
