A: Pale yellow, hazy, with a hint of orange. Pale, frothy head, not very thick, and not much lacing (meager lacing seems to be a fault of all the beers I've had from Unibroue).

S: Citrus is foremost, also grass, wet leather, and white pepper, with enough yeast to let you know it's there.

T: Moderate sweet malt, followed by lemon-grass. Slight fatty acid flavors that give way to mild bitterness and a phenolic finish. It actually tasted really good for the first few sips, while it was still quite cold, but the harsher edges came out as it warmed up.

M: Powerfully carbonated (more than I'd expect from the head). The alcohol burn is strong enough to notice. Dry from the start, it grows astringent in the finish.

O: It was promising at first, but finished just so-so. Not bad, but there are many better wheat beers in the world.

Appearence- like a dark yellow with some orange. very transparent and bubbles collect at top of glass. leaves a slight lacing
smell- sweet and yeasty, maybe some honey and oranges.
taste- yeast, breadiness, with a sweet honey-like flavor. No bitterness. Cant taste the 9% abv
mouthfeel- very light and refreshing.

overall its very easy to drink, but a little sweet, without any bitterness, which i like in beers for a balance.

Bright golden in the long Stella goblet. Pleasant foam which subsides into a champagne appearance in the glass. Very sprightly on the tongue. Aroma is woody and honey-like.

Full of intriguing flavors. Starts with some mellow malts and banana, but moves into bright and sharp flavors. Some sweetness in the initial taste. Very interesting for seeming to be brewed without any detectable hops. Quite yeasty with just a little of the Belgian bitterness. Certainly nothing like you'd find in a Saison.

Thoroughly intense in the classic Unibroue style. Complex and totally drinkable, sip by pensive sip. From a 12 oz bottle.

Light orange in color and hazy. Thick head that fades pretty quickly. Leaves some lacing.

Fresh citric and yeast aroma.

Flavor is bright and fresh with lemon and orange yest, fresh wheat bread and yeast. Semi-assertive hop. Hint of coriander. Perfect balance. Alcohol is almost indetectable.

Medium bodied and drying in the finish from the alcohol. Sharp, snappy carbonation. Smooth, creamy texture.

Great beer! Exceptional flavor and highly refreshing.

12oz bottle (best by 10/13/2014) into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden color w/ a 1-finger white head.

Aroma is Belgian yeast, spice, bananas, pale malt, and clean water.

Taste follows nose. Just a really nice mellow blend of earth, spice, bready malt, and fruit. Some nice hoppy bitterness in there too.

Mouthfeel is velvety smooth, semi-dry finish. Drinkable, refreshing.

Overall another solid beer from Unibroue.

12 oz bottle, best by 10/26/14.

A gentle pour into a tulip yielded 3 fingers of billowing, fluffy white head. The body of this beer is a cloudy, very actively bubbly golden straw color. The head has really nice retention, actually, but doesn't quite cling to the glass like you may expect.

First up, you smell the yeast. A little funky, a little spicy. Wheat, coriander, and a little bit of lemon zest.

The taste is where Don de Dieu really shines. Full bodied, crisp, wheat and refined citrus. A great banana sweetness, artfully balanced by grassy, prickly spice, and an almost imperceptible alcohol warmth. The mouthfeel is refreshing, and while crisp, it also manages to find just the right way to coat the mouth.

Top notch BSPA from Unibroue. Can't wait to try the Fin du Monde as well. Maybe Canada isn't so bad after all.
