Don De Dieu has a medium, off-white head, a brilliant, bubbly, orange appearance, with lots of bubble streams, many white, fluffy chunks, and moderate lacing left on the glass. The aroma is sweet, very sugary, spicy, and of light fruits. Taste is of figs, dates, fruit cake, bready malt, various spices, and white cake icing. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy and prickly, and Don De Dieu finishes champagne dry and quite drinkable.

Appearance. Pours hazy gold with a finger of frothy white head that fades fast.
Smell. Apples and pears, light (unibroue) spicy yeast and a touch of grainy light malt.
Taste. Fairly sweet, estery, lots of mild belgian yeast flavours, some classic belgian spices.
Mouthfeel. Medium+ body, medium+ fine carbonation.
Overall. Smells nice and fruity, a little boring and not hitting the right notes for me as far as the taste goes.

From a bomber into a tulip
A: white honey, some sediment, some bubbles, a huge 3 finger head that recedes down to a thin crown within a minute or two
S: Orchard fruity esters, apple, peach, some wheat and some very faint cloves. Nice and full but not overpowering.
T: like an orchard, with some yeastiness, a little chalkiness, fairly round and full flavors, not much hop bite or bitterness, and some peppery spiciness at the end.
M: smooth, full and round flavors, a little prickliness on the tongue, but only medium carbonation.
Overall: a very good beer. Not quite as lively as some in the style and not quite as interesting as some of Unibroue's other offerings, but this is very good.
