Sample in Jan 2011. Didn't record exact bottle date, but I recall about 4 weeks old.
Golden orange color with white head that fades quickly, but leaves good lacing.
Nice citrus hop aroma with notes of orange , grapefruit, lemon. Also presence of toffee malt. Has good balance.
Nice balance of citrus, esp grapefruit, hops and toffee/caramel malt. Moderate-strong bitterness throughout.
Again I find good balance between astringency of hops and sweet qualities of malt. Has mild-moderate creamy carbonation that is appropriate.
Extremely drinkable, and a beer I'd want to have again if reasonably fresh. I find I really enjoy the citrus hops profile, similarly with Hop Stoopid.
Recommend, but make sure fresh.
