A - Clear coppery red color. Offwhite head fades to rocky film. A few small bits of lacing.
S - Light citrusy hoppy smell, some brown sugary malts. Aroma is overall pretty faint.
T - Starts out with a nice hit of sweet bitterness, immediately balanced with brown sugary malt. Malt flavor increases in sweetness, too sweet for my liking. Finish leaves a good blend of the aforementioned tastes: sweet hoppy bitterness with a dominating presence of brown sugary malts.
M - Medium carbonation, right where it seems it should be. Consistency is on the thicker side, seems almost syrupy at times.
D - Probably slightly lower ABV than your average DIPA, so drinkability is elevated for the DIPA style. Overall an okay brew, I'd like to try it on-tap.
