Just picked this one up from the local party store as part of a mix-a-six deal. I'm sure this has always been possible, but my unobservant butt just found out. No bottling date, however gravity, ABV, and IBU are conveniently listed.

A - Pours a mellow golden color, not quite coppery, with a thin white head. Simmers down to a soapy film and ringlet, but these stuck around for the duration of the glass. Thin, wispy lacing.

S - Almost smells more like an English PA rather than IPA. Sharp notes of pine and earth.

T - I think it's a bit soured, maybe? Hard to tell for certain how long it had been sitting on the shelf. Pine, esters, and grassy, earthy hops in addition to the off sour flavor which may or may not be intentional.

M - Sort of chewy, and makes me pucker my cheeks. Carbonation is just right, which makes me think even more that it may be past prime, since most bottled beers are waaay too over-carbed.

O - I might take a second crack at this one if I were certain it was fresh, but tragically, without a bottling date, it's so hard to tell.

Served from a bottle

A: orange-ish amber color with a beautiful cream finger head. pretty good lacing along the glass.

S: strong tangerine-citrus scent with malts. Little to no hop tones.

T: pretty good alcohol kick, hints of hops and malts. Finishes pretty bitter.

M: pretty easy to drink, the alcoholic taste doesn't deter from the taste.

O: not too bad to drink. I could easily get this one again, but I wouldn't put it on my favorites list.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip
A: Transparent orange with a one-finger lingering head
S: Tons of pine, but with a roasted malt backbone and citrus notes.
T: A bit overly sweet; the butterscotch/malt comes through quite readily, and underneath that the pine/citrus from the hops. Long finish.
M: Creamy, full-bodied; a bit of booze & a bit thick from the sweetness.
O: I really want to like this but at the end of the day I feel it's too unbalanced- it needs less sweetness and more of the hops that show on the nose to come through on the palate.
As others have mentioned this does not have a freshness date (shame shame) so it may have seen a bit of time sitting on the shelf, but either way that leaves room for improvement- either more hops/less sweetness to begin with or put on a freshness date so we know if it's past prime.

A- Pours a rich copper orange/gold into my DFH glass. A brilliant white three finger head floats, and sticks around leaving tons of sticky, drippy lacing all down my glass. Really effervescent carbonation!

S- Grapefruit, orange and tangerine peel, sticky sweet caramel, nutmeg, clove, some floral pine, light brown sugar and basil. Much more sweet than I expected... a very pleasant surprise.

T- Like dipping a grapefruit segment in caramel... Wonderful citrus punch wrapped in sticky sweet caramel. Not too piney, not too sweet. Very nice balance. Floral notes of fresh cut basil leaves, honeysuckle and orange blossoms, caramel covered cashews, pine and maple sap right from the tree.

M- Great carbonation. Really lets the fruit and herbs sing, and the caramel sweetness linger, and stick to your tongue. I'm very impressed by the balance of this everyday IIPA.

O- Better than a 4.0 but not quite a 4.5. Really great sweet to citrus/pine balance. I love the spicy basil/licorice/citrus wrapped up in a sweet Flan pudding. I gotta remember to grab this one more often.
