12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass
No born on date

A: Pours a translucent perfectly amber color with 1.5fingers width of sea foam white head, which dissipates at a moderately slow rate down to a thick film which remains throughout the drink.  Leaves a slight degree of patchy lacing.

S: The aroma is quite strong from the moment I open the bottle.  There is a big caramel sweet malt presence.  Citrusy hops of orange, lemon, and grapefruit.

T: Quite tasty.  Taste follows the nose with the citrus characters and firm malt backbone.  There is a real nice hop profile here, as some piney bitterness makes itself known to accompany the citrus characters.  A nice, well balanced flavor profile.

M/D: Nice and smooth.  Full bodied with an appropriate level of carbonation. Each sip finishes dry, encouraging you to have another.  No hint of the ABV. Good drinkability for the style.

O: Overall, a very nice example of one of my favorite styles.  Both nose and taste not as impressive as some of the best of the style, but the reasonable price and easy availability make it a worthy regular in my rotation, and certainly worth a try if you have never had it.
