I must have gotten a bad bottle here, but gotta rate it. This was a real step back from their standard IPA. A strange beer without much bite and just not very good. Could mistake this for a poor pilsner.
This pours a hazy light gold with a medium sized white head. Aroma of hay and stale hops, not much sweetness. Flavor follows with dry, stale hops, a good bit of hay, nearly no sweetness, and an unpleasant finish. I'm not sure what happened with this one, and will have to revisit in the future.

Poured into a pint glass from a bottle dated last week of Dec 11.
A: filtered dark golden Amber color. 1 finger of offwhite frothy head after a pretty aggressive pour.
S: sweet sticky caramel malt, piney, citrus, and sweet tropical fruit hops.
T: well balanced strong hop flavors and sweet bready malt. Hop flavor follows the nose; citrusy and fruity.
M: medium bodied, creamier than most lagunitas pale ales.
O: tastier than I remember this beer being. Lagunitas does not disappoint!

A - Pours a beautiful clear burnt orange with one finger of off-white head. Nice amount of lacing.
S - Lots of citrus, both orange and grapefruit, and some biscuit malt. Faint alcohol aroma.
T - Quite a bit of citrus bitterness up front, but it fades pretty quickly. There is also some juicy orange pulp. Biscuit malt dominates the middle. Faint amount of aspirin in the middle as well, unfortunately.
M - Medium mouthfeel, not at all oily or resinous. Finishes with a nice bitter bite.
O - Pretty good DIPA that has a nice mix of bitter and sweet. I'd have this again, but there are a number of DIPAs I enjoy more.

A medium copper/amber with an ample carbonation level. One finger head quickly recedes to a bubbly, slightly foamy top
A mix of grapefruit citrus and pine with a good dose of biscuity malt.
A bitter citrus is noticeable up front with pine making a follow up effort. A slight alcohol burn is paired with a biscuit and caramel backbone
A medium body is evident on the palate with an ample carbonation level that tingles the tip of the tongue
Brewed in the spirit of a DIPA. Bitterness level is noticeable but not overwhelmingly so. Overall a good beer, however, it lacks a little bit of a crisp hop flavor profile. Though I prefer Hop Stoopid, this is a good alternative
