super cool beer here, in the true spirit of experimentation, the old daytime as a base, but with apple juice blended in, sort of a hoppy cider beer hybrid, a graff before it was cool, is it cool now? or is it graf? one f or two in that? seen it both ways. anyway, the little bit of what seems like citra hops in this is rad with the natural tang of the apples, the skins as evident as the flesh itself here, which i love, it works to dry this out even though there is some sweetness left from the apples, and the light malt base of the foundation beer really allows the fruit to pop, while keeping it all real light. its cool how much apple there in in the taste really, cool nuance too, white cranberry, green tea, some vegetal bitterness, light lemon like when you squeeze some on sliced apples to keep from browning. it could have more carbonation, but its still light. tang is cool, not too acidic, and its like the first third is beer, the midde part is cider, and the last third is both, some subtle fermentation character to this, more than regular daytime anyway. really different and good, nice for the fall season, a change of pace from wet hops, marzens, and pumpkin ales. dig it.

On tap:
Pours almost like a white ale, pale yellow, and decently cloudy. Larger bubbled head covers the surface for a while.
Not getting much in the nose, maybe general earthy and floral notes. Halfway through the pour my nose is in and actually getting a little peach more than apple, strange enough.
Taste is like a tart, dry saison to me. The apple taste is there and apparently supplying the tart. Base beer provides the earthy bitterness (at least in comparison to the tart). Missing the true farmhouse notes I make my comparison perfect, but hope you get the point.
Feel is nice, lively carbonation rarly, tartness helping to provide some liveliness late. Not as light as the color, carbonation, and fruit nature might indicate.
An interesting beer that you should head into thinking "sour" more than session IPA. An enjoyable option that has a lean towards a radler, but very slight, and definitely more tart than sweet.
