Appearance: Almost a pitch black with some ruby shades around the edges. Head is a thick frothy top covering of beige. Head looks like its going nowhere. Above average lacing.
Smell: Coffee grounds come through. Mostly grain, some bread and a bit of chocolate.
Taste: Can't help but notice right off that bat that the alcohol is nowhere to be found. I'd only had this on draft before and been unaware that it clocks in at over 9%. This is a smooth imperial stout. Roasted malts take over the flavor profile rounded out with faint notes of chocolate and coffee grinds. Nothing overpowering about this, but solid.
Mouthfeel: As mentioned before, this is smooth. Mid-level of carbonation up front that fades fast.
Drinkability: The ABV is untraceable, making this a very drinkable imperial stout.
