Served from a 22 oz bottle from Vendome Wine. No freshness date. Served into a bourbon cocktail glassware.
A: Pours a fizzy dark brown/smokey black. Some hints of red hue through light. Average carbonation. Decent lacing.
S: Wood bark, cherries, but very subtle espresso notes. I would expect more of a french press or organic coffee scent.
T: Smoked chocolate and espresso beans with cherry wood barks. A little boozy as this warms up, but expected with a 9% beer. Not as strong coffee variants as I would expect from a beer with the Cappuccino label.
M: woody texture. average drinkability. More of a sipper at 9%
O: At roughly 4 bucks a pop, a solid- above average limited release. I would expect a more complex coffee profile, since it's a Cappuccino stout, but I feel the abv may hinder some of those delicate coffee notes. More of an Imperial Porter in my buds; a quality beer regardless. B.
