Poured into a snifter
A- pours a dark copper color with a small creamy light-tan head that reduces to just a bit floating on top.
S- sharp piney hops with some grassiness, sweetness from the malt and brown sugar and some booze.
T- piney hops follows the nose with some oily hop resins, the sweetness kicks in afterword which is complemented my the malt. The finish is sweet with a hop linger. I can't actually point out any brown sugar taste but the sweetness can't be missed. This one is definitely a sipper, but the booze is hidden decently considering the high ABV.
M- thick-heavy body, low carbonation, chewy and velvety mouthfeel with a creamy finish.
O- this one was interesting and worth a try. The mix of piney hops and super sweetness seems a little off a bit for me though. An interesting concept.
