Excited to see how this one has developed over the past 3 or so years in the cellar.
Pours a brown mahoghany in color w/ a 1/2 finger tan head that leaves light sticky lacing. Aromas of caramel, toffee, and slight dark fruits. The taste starts off w/ sweet caramel/toffee up front, transitioning into warm brown sugar and mild dark fruits, and finishes w/ mild hop bitterness. Medium bodied and lush w/ low levels of carbonation. Very easy to drink for the ABV.
Overall, this one had come along nicely! The hops have almost completely fallen off on the finish and a mild dark fruit characteristic has developed in the middle.
