I enjoyed this beer from the comfort of my own living room. From the 220z bottle to a standard pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy/murky dark yellow to orange color with a billowy white head that stuck around for some time. Still billowing out as I poured the 2nd half of the bottle into my glass.

Smell: Fruity smell out of the bottle. From the glass, more grass-like earthy hops, grapefruit with a hint of maltiness.

Taste: Very well balanced, but understated hops.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied and sticky.

Drinkability: Very drinkable brew. It is unfortunate this will not be made again. Held up very well considering this has not been brewed for some time and I picked it up almost 2 months ago. Would like to have again some day.

A 22 ounce bomber bottle shared with psycohops and brothercannon. Poured into a trio of shaker glasses, this ale appears a hazed golden yellow color with around an inch of dense ecru foam. The head leaves minimal lacing on the glass. Smells and tastes of bitter piney hops, fruity and grassy, followed by a decent amount of sweet grain and malt to pull it all together. This IPA was medium bodied and amply carbonated for the style. Glad I had the chance to try and share this one.

Pours clear gold-orange with a decent white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma is pine hops with some fresh oranges. The taste is very crisp; peppery hops, resin, grass, and only a bit of the standard Lagunitas sugary sweet malts. Kind of soapy/dishwatery with the blend. Good, tart hop flavor, but without the bite. Enjoyable, but I really expected more.

Aged about a year in my basement, found at Belmont Part Supply, Dayton. Smells like an IPA and initially quite hoppy, with a finish of palm/coconut oil. Drinkable, but the coconut oiliness is not my favorite. Medium bodied. Golden yellow with loyal bubbly almost transparent head.

Appearance: Pours a clear light amber color with a rocky ecru head that sticks nicely and leaves a few shards around the pint glass

Smell: Apricots and pine, with a biscuity element underneath

Taste: Opens rather sweet, with a nice biscuity flavor that is quickly joined and then pounded by apricot and pine elements from the hop bill; after the swallow, the malt pushes everything back into balance

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Drinkability: I forgot I had this one in my cellar and I was nervous when I opened it, but it has aged nicely; not nearly as hoppy as it was in its youth, but the flavors come together in much better fashion than the other beers in the Zappa tribute series
