22 oz. Bottle with no freshness date.
A- Solid, two finger, light beige, fluffy head. Transparent light amber with lots of active, visible streams of carbonation. Great head retention all the way to the bottom of the glass, with lots of pretty lacing.
S- Sweet malts, brown caramelized sugar on fresh fruit. I'm getting a sweet, candied, floral scent that is delicious. I'm not sure if it is all coming from the hops or if the malt and yeast are getting in the mix too. Smells like a citrus and berry marmalade on a toasted, whole grain muffin.
T- Start with malt up front which is quickly accompanied by a slightly bitter and astringent zing of hops and alcohol. Finishes citrusy and bitter with a fruity and piney aftertaste and retro-olfaction.
M- Slight slick and resinous. Mid body with lots of carbonation.
O- A very tasty, satisfying, and complex double IPA. I finally understand all the positive talk surrounding this beer. And at 5 bucks a bottle, it's a steal compared to other bombers.

A - clear amber, frothy one finger head fades to film.
S - tropical fruit salad, mango, floral hops.
T - on money, fruit salad still, pineapple, hops to the fore and well balanced. Little bittering hops makes easy drinking. Good malt backbone. Hint grapefruit / pine. Overall quite a moderate taste level.
M - medium weight, moderate carbonation. One stage from oily. No hint of ABV save a little warmth.
O - excellent effort, well balanced beer, not as in your face as I would have expected.
