The bottle is 50 days old, which is much older than I would usually review for an Imperial IPA, but this is the freshest bottle of Hop Stoopid I have ever seen in my town. I feel that if the beer is never super fresh, then I have the right to review it and judge it as such.
L: Bright, clear gold with some sediment swirling around and a lush, white head. Good lacing.
A: Big pine resin, earthy, citrus and apricot hop notes with a bready, toasty malt backdrop. This thing is probably bombarded with CTZ during dry hopping.
T: Nice smooth bitterness upfront which starts to drop off and reveals some earthy pine resin hops with some citrusy and stone fruit complexities. The malt comes in as well with some nice toasted bread flavor as well as some body to balance out the hops. The finish is clean, if not a bit malty with lingering piney flavors.
Overall, a very tasty IIPA, great stinky hop aroma. I have no doubt that this beer would be truly excellent when fresh, but it still tastes great even at 50 days in the bottle. I wish that the distributors would get it to the shelves sooner.

The 22 ounce bomber just seemed to call out to me at Liquor Barn - how can you go wrong with "Hop Stoopid". Turns out I didn't. Enjoyed this with an Italian meal. The hop aroma with the mix or citrus and pine was almost overwhelming and the flavor profile didn't let me down. Although the label claims 102 IBU, the sweet malt backbone still comes through with a very nice balance between the hop and malt. This stood up quite well to spicy Italian food but I think it would be good with just about anything.
Overall this is just a very nice Imperial IPA that I will purchase again.
