An excellent IPA.

The appearance in the glass was a dark, golden, orange color. It was a very nice looking beer.

The smell was interesting to me. It almost smelled more like a barleywine to me than an IPA. Instead of citrus and hops, I got raisins and fruity malts. When I got to the bottom of the bottle though, it smelled more like an IPA, hmmm...

The taste was what a great IPA should be. The hops were very strong with notes of citrus, pine and a general overall bitterness.

Mouthfeel was okay, nothing special.

An IPA that I will buy again.

This beer was so good. I had it last night so I'm trying to remember everything about it. It just tasted so clean and delicious. It was bitter right on the front, but went down very smooth and creamy. The alcohol was hidden extremely well. It felt more like 4-5 abv beer than a double IPA.

They should bring this into 6 packs. But it's still hard to beat 4.50$ for a 22 oz. bottle.

Poured from a fresh 22 oz bomber. Pours a very light orange with a fingers worth of an off white head that leaves pretty good head lacing. The aroma’s are of citrus, tropical fruits and grass with very a very similar taste. Medium to light body with plenty of hop bitterness hanging around in the after taste.

Poured from a 22 oz bomber into a pint glass

A: Light copper. Nice finger head.

S: Strong mango, slight peach and citrus. One of the best smelling brews I've had in my day.

T: Lots of hop and fruit taste. First thing to comes to mind when tasting this brew is "juicy." So delicious. More grapefruit than mango. Some peach and pineapple. Alcohol is present and pleasant, to borrow from a fellow reviewer.

Mouthfeel: Finishes great. Leaves a citrus taste in my mouth.

Overall: For 8% alcohol, this beer is unbelievably drinkable. I definitely appreciated the scent of the brew--floral and fruity. Wholeheartedly recommend this brew. Very drinkable and approachable for all kinds of beer enthusiasts!

A- Looks like a cloudy apple juice colored beer with a 2 inch off white head on top. thick foam head has great hold and took a while to wear down. Nice lacing.

S- Sweet sugary smell with gentle citrus hops just bursting out of the glass. Floral notes are just a delightful aroma to round it out.

T- Piney. Good hops. Just the right amount of bitterness coming in at the back of the finish.

M- Full bodied, creamy foamy. Just really fills the mouth.

O- What a great way to finish the day. Run out and get one of these right away.

22 oz. bottle poured into pint glass. Bottled on March 4, so it's two weeks old. 102 I.B.U 4 U (me).

A - Pours a totally transparent golden orange color. Rather pale for the style with remarkable clarity. The one finger off white head has low density and dies pretty quickly, but leaves behind a nice halo and amorphous lacing down the glass.

S - The aroma is of grapefruit, grass, and dank hops.

T - Really nice crisp flavor starting with some grass/earthiness, followed by a nice hop bitterness. Finish has that sort of funky onion hops bite, which I enjoy in moderation.

M - Has a pretty light body with nice carbonation and a soft feel.

O - This beer is completely night and day from my previous bottle, which was well past its prime. There is a nice bitterness to it and a crisp feel. This is a very good DIPA, for a nice price. Highly recommend it if you can get it fresh.

Bottled on the 48th day of the year and consumed on the 78th day of the year.
There is a white soapy/sudsy head that falls apart quickly. Slightly hazy with a golden/light amber coloring. Lacing covers the glass.
Pine and an inviting sweet peach aroma crawl into your nostrils.
Lots of tolerable bitterness especially on the back end. Pine bitterness dominates right off the bat giving way to a slight malt character before finishing with more bitterness. Not as sweet on the tongue as in the nose. The alcohol is present and pleasant. Enough of a sweet lip sticky malt to keep drinking this hop bomb.
Medium bodied and dry.
