A: Pours a gorgeous orange hue with an off white head. Decent lacing. Mostly clear and with small bubbles rising to the surface.

S: Smells super dank! Hops jump right out of the glass and hit you with fresh fruits and a bit of pine. You definitely get a sweet caramel/honey malt background to help balance out the hops. I've never smelled a beer quite like this, its very different from the norm so it makes it hard to describe, but it is wonderful. Quite astringent and almost hoppy to the point of being slightly varnishy, but it a good way.

T: Tastes very much like it smells. The first thing you notice is just how well this beer is balanced. It has boat loads of hop flavor, and a solid malt backbone, and a pleasing bitterness. This isn't one to tear apart your mouth with super dry bitterness, it is juicy, rather, and quite quenching. I get tropical fruits in this one mainly and it finishes with a pleasing pine bitterness.

M: Medium, clean, good carbonation.

This beer was very impressive, and especially at 3.99! This beer is such a great value and by far the best beer I've had from Lagunitas. Such a great balance of malt and hops and hop bitterness make this beer so incredibly drinkable. My only wish would be be that Lagunitas date their bottles.
