Pours bright orange amber, with a small white head and some lacing. There appears to be some bubbles or sediment suspended in the beer.

Smells of piney, floral, citrusy hops, and slight malt undertones. Gains a little earthiness and spice as it warms.

Tastes is nice, hint of sweet hops, nice tangerine, but not much up front punch. The tangy hops flavor is present throughout the taste, with a slight malt aftertaste.

Feels well carbonated, good balance and a smooth finish. Feels lighter than the 8%abv that it claims, but not in my brain.

I like this beer, good citrus flavors are nice. However, if it's called Hop Stoopid, I feel it should have more hops, and in that, I feel it was lacking. That doesn't make it bad, just doesn't live up to it's name.

Purchased @Bevmo Chino Hills

App- A darker orange with some translucent yellows around the middle and towards the bottle. A very long lasting 2 finger head with a decent enough amount of lace and cling. Small pon layer as well.

Smell- This pour opens very vibrant with some orange fruits and some tropical notes. Its very piney and resiny as well. A bit on the thicker side with a semi-balanced malt aspect.

Taste- I know what they are trying to do, and it's not for me to decide really if they nailed it but its far too malty and really kinda tastes like a Heineken to me. A bit too overboard with the hops and not enough balance to it.

Mouth- Medium bodied with a spicy, hoppy, sweet caramel residual flavor and a nice thicker medium carbonation.

Drink- I can admit I am not a fan of uber hoppy beers. Some work and some don't. Devil Dancer and Double Crooked Tree namely. This was lacking a paired citrus to tame the spice and malts. Probably wont have this one again.
