Rich, copper colored body. Translucent. Plenty of carbonation and fine sediment create a mesmerizing spiraling effect. Crowned with a soft, thick bone-white head that sticks around for the duration of the beer leaving an incredible amount of lacing behind. Easily the best beer I've ever seen.
Gobs of sweet, sweet caramel and trace brown sugar are front and foremost. Very malty with no detectable hop presence. Faint notes of dark fruit break through.
Plenty of malt with equal amounts of toasty caramel. Fresh biscuits and light almond character. Not as sweet as the nose and light, earthy bitterness probably has a lot to do with this. Roasted character becomes more prevalent as temperature increases. Nice roasted aftertaste is always present.
A smooth, medium body houses plenty of carbonation. Finish is on the drier side of things but enjoyable. Sediment is decent in size and can lend a chewy character towards the end of the glass.
I was blown away by this one. I expected a good product, but wow! I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Easy to drink, easy to enjoy. Refreshing... What are you waiting for? Grab this one!

Formally "the Kronik", this Amber Ale is poured from a 12oz. stub bottle into a nonic pint glass.
A - marketed as a "Rich Copper Ale", and there is truth in the marketing; penny red-orange, hardly any carbonation and a finger & 1/2 of fluffy cream head. Head retention is excellent with beautiful lacing all the way down.
S - rich caramel malts, toasted marshmallow, pine, and very light hops.
T - translates from the aroma well; not sharp at all; rich but not decadent.
M - smooth and creamy; very drinkable; a good session beer.
O - great beer, and one of my favorites of the style. A go-to during the week, and a great paring beer for many styles of cooking.
