(A) Pours a golden honey color that is consistent throughout. Clear with great visibility. Off white, frothy head that quickly diminishes to just around the edges and leaves lacing.
(S) Smells of honey, hops, sweet sugars, bread, some pine, and citric rind. Almost has a green tea scent as you drink.
(T) Has a real earthy aspect to it. The hops are pretty pronounced and give a big bitterness to the flavor. The malts are less prevalent due to the hops but they are there. Has the taste of honey. The bitterness at the end couples with the citric rind that gives it a perfumy aftertaste.
(M) Bitter, crisp, and clean.
(O) I feel this beer drinks more like an IPA than a Pale Ale. It's got a lot more hops and bitterness than I expected to it.
