Crystal clear light straw gold body with a creamy offwhite 1 finger head which slides down to a film. Not much lace
Scent is floral and fruity with a hint of crackery biscuit. A pungent aroma emerges as the beer warms.
Taste is similar to the nose. There is a tangerine note. Hints of pine and grapefruit in the background. Very clean, very crisp. Nice stiff bitterness. A light crackery malt presence.
Mouth is crisp.
Drinkability is exceptional.
New Dogtown is delightfully crisp, clean and refreshing with fruity, citric, piney and pungent hop flavors and aromas. Fantastic example of the style.

12oz bottle (date stamp 330 3 6565 1801) served in a milkshake pilsner glass.
Appearance: Clear bright gold with a hint of amber. Lots of carbonation coming up through the beer. Persistent 1/8" white foam with equally persistent big strands and sheets of lacing all over the glass. Nice looking beer.
Smell: Mango!!! Lots of tropical fruit coming off of this beer.
Taste: Bitter, lots of fresh cut grapefruit citrus, some tropical fruit. Malt is cracker-like, not sweet at all. Finish is lingering citrus and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel: Very dry. Some hop oil sticking to the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: A very hoppy beer - but not a bitter hop wallop. Strong emphasis on aroma hops with this one with a simple hop flavor profile. Well crafted and well done. Interestingly though, due to the dryness and weaker malt backbone, I find one is enough. It's strong flavor wears out my palate such that I don't want another one right away. Another one later on, but not one right now.
