General: This is a standard in my house but I figured that I would finally review it. I enjoyed this one out of my New Belgium tulip glass. No born on date on this bottle but it's pretty fresh, it's only been in the house for a couple of days.
Appearance: Pours a light gold to normal gold color and is crystal clear. Very bright color to this. There is a great white head that is big and fluffy that diminishes pretty quickly. There is a little bit of lacing, not a lot but what there is looks really good.
Aroma: this is a very balanced aroma with a nice bit of hops with a good malt backbone. There is a little touch of orange that comes through this. I really like the aroma of this, it's really nice!
Mouthfeel: Carbonation is moderate to moderately high and has a coating effect with each sip. The body of this is medium, and is fitting to style.
Taste: Again just like the aroma this is very balanced. There is a nice hop note but it is backed up perfectly by the malt. There are a lot of small flavors in this that come out slowly over time like orange and maybe some light citrus. it's a great beer.
Overall: This is a good beer, plan and simple. It is a standard in my fridge but until tonight I never thought to write a review.

Poured bottle into glass. 7.5 % abv
Appearance- Pours a translucent golden yellow with a lively two finger head that hangs around.
Smell- Ripe orange along with grapefruit citrus hints. Sweet bready malt as well.
Taste- A fresh toasted biscuit malt flavor arrives and quickly develops into a strong wheat character. This wheat flavor blends along nicely with the citric hop bitterness as the two tastes co-mingle with each other. This wheat/hop taste pairing of this beer is interesting and different to me. Very easy drinking.
Mouthfeel- Surprisingly light and thin for the vibrant taste and 7.5 percent abv. Well done.
Overall- A very interesting and delicious beer that is both wheaty and hoppy. A top among the APWA style for sure. As my first Lagunitas beer I was impressed. A must try for those seeking a tasty and potent warm weather brew.
