12 ounce bottle purchased from Beverage Warehouse in Marina Del Rey as a single for two dollars, poured into a Lost Coast pint glass, color is golden yellow with some orange, 3/4 inch ceamy white head with decent retention and leaving some small amounts of lacing, aroma consists of wheat, lots of citrus including grapefruit, floral accents, pine, herbal accents, and , flavor is full of hops at first which is really not true to style but I am not complaining, some citrus and very mild wheat in the middle, finish has a large amount of hoppiness and citrus too, some lingering pine in the aftertaste, nicely balanced between fruit and hops, dry, citrusy and slightly chewy mouthfeel, moderatate level of carbonation, medium bodied, could drink a few of these, taste is complex for the style, no alcohol in the flavor, pretty refreshing when served cold and balanced, definitely not your ordinary wheat beer, love the amount of hops in this beer, would drink again, hope this is brewed again

Poured bottle into glass. 7.5 % abv
Appearance- Pours a translucent golden yellow with a lively two finger head that hangs around.
Smell- Ripe orange along with grapefruit citrus hints. Sweet bready malt as well.
Taste- A fresh toasted biscuit malt flavor arrives and quickly develops into a strong wheat character. This wheat flavor blends along nicely with the citric hop bitterness as the two tastes co-mingle with each other. This wheat/hop taste pairing of this beer is interesting and different to me. Very easy drinking.
Mouthfeel- Surprisingly light and thin for the vibrant taste and 7.5 percent abv. Well done.
Overall- A very interesting and delicious beer that is both wheaty and hoppy. A top among the APWA style for sure. As my first Lagunitas beer I was impressed. A must try for those seeking a tasty and potent warm weather brew.
