Poured out of a 12 oz bottle with no discernible freshness date into a 20 oz weizen glass. Certainly tastes fresh in spite of not being able to verify.
Appearance - A crystal-clear amber hue with some notes of brass and lazy, individual carbonation bubbles drifting towards the frothy, two-finger head. Dissipates to about a 1/8th finger after 5 minutes or so and leaves distinct but faint lacing.
Smell - Hits me before I even really stick my nose in the glass, because of how hop-forward it is, but in a good way. Perhaps that's partly due to the glass style, but also due to the great aromas going on in this beer. Piney notes on a bed of lemon zest, but with less acidity. Wonderfully intoxicating.
Taste - The promise of the smell was definitely delivered. Bready wheat folded with veins of hoppy bite. The wheat provides for a smoother aftertaste that allows the bitterness to be present, but doesn't linger.
Mouthfeel - A nice, chewy round mouthfeel. Medium-to-full bodied.
Overall a fantastic beer. It honestly reminds me a lot of another outstanding American Pale Wheat Ale offering by Boulevard: 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat. If I lived on the West coast outside of Boulevard's footprint, this beer would be a regular go-to. One of the best APWAs on the market today.

After I drank the first few sips of this is tasted really Hoppy but in a good way. Fairly Floral. Good thick taste. Hard to describe but even though it is not the same type of beer it really tasted like a beer that I had last week in California. Pliney the Elder! The taste was about 80% similar. So if you want something that tastes similar but live in Texas like I do go buy some Little Sumpin to satisfy your Pliney the Elder needs.
