Pours a clear orangey gold topped by a frothy head that retains amazingly and laces like a beast.
The aroma is powdered sugar and a buttload of citrusy hops. Divine. Creamy, almost. Lots of orange peel and a touch of honey.
Taste is very rounded, grapefruit and sweet malts, light wheat, citrusy with a lot of waxy yeast and honey. A hint of spice and orange peel lingers in the finish. Well hopped in the most perfect way.
Medium to light body, could use some beefing up.
Overall a very satisfying wheat beer. Hardly surprising--I learned to expect great things from Lagunitas a long time ago.
