Here's one I can't believe I haven't tried yet. I have to admit a lot of American wheat beers turn me off, but this hoppyness aspect will likely win me over. Everyone seems to love this one. Okay, starting with the looks: Pretty good... It's a very clear, sun-kissed straw color and has an airy, sea-foam like head, which dissipates quickly. Lots of carbonation. The aroma is amazing, with a lot going on. Very fresh and juicy fruit esters, and a slightly masked resinous tang. Syrupy malts, a biscuity demeanor and honeysuckle.
The blend of flavors in this one really hits the spot! It begins with a splash of citrus and honey, with a soft, malty center, finishing up with a tail of grassyness and orange rind. It's got a slightly sharp, medium mouthfeel that pleasantly lingers. Overall, this brew defies any sort of set style. Not a bad drink for any time of the day - would over-power a meal but is great on it's own. I may have another one now!

Poured bottle into glass. 7.5 % abv
Appearance- Pours a translucent golden yellow with a lively two finger head that hangs around.
Smell- Ripe orange along with grapefruit citrus hints. Sweet bready malt as well.
Taste- A fresh toasted biscuit malt flavor arrives and quickly develops into a strong wheat character. This wheat flavor blends along nicely with the citric hop bitterness as the two tastes co-mingle with each other. This wheat/hop taste pairing of this beer is interesting and different to me. Very easy drinking.
Mouthfeel- Surprisingly light and thin for the vibrant taste and 7.5 percent abv. Well done.
Overall- A very interesting and delicious beer that is both wheaty and hoppy. A top among the APWA style for sure. As my first Lagunitas beer I was impressed. A must try for those seeking a tasty and potent warm weather brew.
