Poured from a 12oz brown shorty into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.
A slightly hazy golden color and a nice thick head. The head slowly dissipates but sticks to everything on the way down.
Wow, this smells like tropical fruit and citrus. Grapefruit, pineapple and a little bit of pine. It smells like it is going to be an interesting beer.
A smooth and luscious medium body. The flavors are very similar to the aroma just in different proportions. The grapefruit stands out and the pineapple is there in the beginning. The wheat only shows up towards the end but it's the hops that take the show. Floral, pine and citrus flavors all swirl together in this semi-dry finish.
A very good beer. I can't believe I waited so long to try this. It has plenty of big hoppy flavor, but it's all about flavor and not just about hops.
