First of all, got to give Lagunitas some props for their branding and brew names. It's definitely unique, that's for sure. Fairly dark for a wheat, hazy with a pearl hued head.
A hop-forward wheat ale, with some grassy wheat and powdery yeast in the aroma.
Crisp and biscuity, with some cracked wheat hiding behind the generous leafy hops. Good florals and just diacetyl and creamed corn (dms) at the end. Got a slight alcohol twang at the end, which isn't surprising at 7.3abv.
Mouthfeel is more than expected, in the medium range, which is high for a pale wheat.
It's downright drinkable, and if it wasn't for the abv, I'd tear through a sixer of this in no time at all.
