12 oz bottle into a snifter...pours a bright pale golden body with a fizzy generous head. Smell has a citrus hop profile with some sharpness. Taste is incredible, with a ton of lemon and orange hop notes with a crisp wheat backbone...kind of reminds me of Gumballhead, but less wheat and fruitier hops. This beer is really really good. Mouthfeel is awesome. Try this one, you won't be sorry.

This is now my favorite beer, it was my 3rd try at American Hoppy Wheat beers. GumballHead, 80 Acre and then a Little Sumpin. Great cloudy color, terrific foamy head. I really like the citrus profiles these beers have. I like that it has a higher ABV%, the tangerine flavors don't cloud or fight the beer taste. I can't wait for the brewery to open up in Chicago.

Bottle poured into snifter.

A : golden amber clear color, white head that dissipates pretty quickly, great lacing.

S : Citrus-y hops with a piney smell to it.

T : A mild bitterness that disappears, then not sweet but fruity and flavorful.

M : Medium carbonation. Very little bitterness. Light to medium body goes down easy.

O : Pours great, smells excellent, and tastes even better. One of my favorites.

My first pass with this beer was mediocre, but the second was much better. The yeast used with this brew is what makes it special. It has a unique and interesting flavor. It is certainly worth trying. It has a bit of a wild yeast character to it while still being clean and refreshing.
