This is one of my all time favorites. The first time I tried this beer, it was love at first site.
Appearance: This beer pours a beautiful and crystal clear copper hue with a 1 to 2 finger head and lots of sticky lacing in the glass.
Smell: Signature Lagunitas Aroma. I huge pop of citrus hops with some slight piney and floral notes. I love the over the top citrus aroma that this beer has, though. Lagunitas has really perfected the great aroma of a higher IBU beer.
Taste: A strong hop flavor that isn't overly bitter that is very nicely paired to a soft malt backbone. The hops are the predominant flavor, but not over powering. The malt backbone consists of some crystal/caramel malt notes, with some slightly biscuity characteristics.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, silky, easy drinking.
Overall: I absolutely love this beer for any time of year. Well done Lagunitas and I hope you continue to crank out some more tasty beers such as this one.

Served out of 12oz. bottle and poured into an American pint glass. The 6-pack was purchased at Jewel-Osco. I couldn't find any sort of date stamp on the bottle.
A - a nice orange body with a frothy and somewhat thick white head. Lacing along the entire glass for the duration of drinking the beer.
S - Smells like a hoppy IPA which is what I thought the style of this beer was before looking it up on here. There is deffinately the citrus orange/grapefruit scent to this beer that is typical of an IPA which brought around my confusion.
T - Grapefruit and pine tasting with a hint of wheat. The after taste really brings out the wheat and makes you want to go ahead and drink some more.
M - Bitter and crisp feeling on the mouth with a decent amount of carbonation. Leaves your mouth with a nice dry finish.
O - This is a delicious beer and my favorites from Lagunitas which is hard for me to say because I love almost everything that they make. One of my most favorite beers overall and clear go to when nothing else sounds good.
