12oz bottle into tulip snifter.
Pours a lightly hazy dark yellow, with a thin white head.
The aroma is very hoppy, with juicy grapefruit and pineapple upfront.
Tropical fruits are also the focus of the taste as well, though they are a bit more balanced out by some light pine hop notes. There are some faint wheat and pale malt notes in the backing. There are no hints of alcohol from the relatively high ABV.
The mouthfeel is fairly medium bodied with a crisp finish.
This definitely is one of the hoppier wheat beers I have tried, or it could just pass as an IPA brewed with some wheat. Either definition works. A very easy drinking beer, especially considering the ABV.
