Poured into a New Belgium snifter
A - Neat looking golden/copper, half finger white head and little lacing
S - Nice hop and yeast up front. Lots of pine a citrus, wheat and malt is very sweet smelling. This is very much like an American pale ale. Love the balance and how every smell lingers
T - The hops is in your face, with pine and pineapple, maybe some papaya or mango. Yeast is next, very sweet and smooth. Then the wheat and malt come at you and linger for a while. This is just well executed beer
M - Very fluffy, some carbonation, sticks to the mouth a bit, but not sticky. You can taste this beer in every corner of your mouth
D - This is drink-ability. 7.5% and goes down like butter. For the taste and the price I could session this ale
Final thought - Lagunitas does it again

Poured bottle into glass. 7.5 % abv
Appearance- Pours a translucent golden yellow with a lively two finger head that hangs around.
Smell- Ripe orange along with grapefruit citrus hints. Sweet bready malt as well.
Taste- A fresh toasted biscuit malt flavor arrives and quickly develops into a strong wheat character. This wheat flavor blends along nicely with the citric hop bitterness as the two tastes co-mingle with each other. This wheat/hop taste pairing of this beer is interesting and different to me. Very easy drinking.
Mouthfeel- Surprisingly light and thin for the vibrant taste and 7.5 percent abv. Well done.
Overall- A very interesting and delicious beer that is both wheaty and hoppy. A top among the APWA style for sure. As my first Lagunitas beer I was impressed. A must try for those seeking a tasty and potent warm weather brew.
