12oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Transparent orange-yellow with a one-finger head that slowly settles
S: Quite a bit hoppier than I expected- both citrus rind and pine, but there's also under-ripe strawberry and wheat
T: Quite hoppy, with the hops continuing strongly from the first sip through the finish. The pine comes through quite a bit, along with bitter grapefruit rind and some dried flowers. A hint of wheat as well, but much more like an IPA here.
M: This is quite flabby. Medium-bodied, but I expected it to be much crisper.
O: As others have said, this is more IPA or APA like than a wheat ale, though still well made and tasty.

Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale has a yellow colour and a good head that lasts. It has a nice hoppy smell with a hint of citrus. The taste is hoppy with a hint of citrus bitterness. It's nice and foamy in the mouth and very drinakable. It's delicious.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a weizen glass. Pours a clear gold with a sticky white head.

Has a hoppy pine smell, with pleasant floral and honey notes and hints of orange and grass.

Has a slightly strange combination of herbal wheat and spicy hop. Fruity, floral, piney and bitter, this aromatic brew starts savory and ends bitter.

Medium to light bodied, it is rather crisp and clean, despite it's full flavor.

I find myself all over the map on this one. I like it, but find it odd and taxing. I want more, but then feel I've had enough. Little sumpin' sumpin'? OK, I'll try a little mo'!

Served in a pint glass on tap at The Barley House in Algonquin, IL

This beer pours a hazy orange color with decent lacing from the frothy white foam head. The smell is of lots of hops, particularly the pine and lemon aroma derived from the hops used. The taste is honestly not nearly as hoppy as I had expected, and as a matter of fact that was a good surprise. There's not a hell of a lot to the taste, but the main components are citrus (lemony) and hints of banana. It feels really nice on the tongue and is one of the better drinking beers I know.

Appearance: Hazy golden.
Smell: sweet, citrus, hoppy.
Taste: This is only my 2nd review...I would have guessed IPA or APA, not wheat, but there is a crispness I haven't tasted in either. Very tasty.
Drinkability: Wouldn't have guessed 7%. I'm drinking this fast.

A - Head of about a finger and white - maybe some slight yellow in it. Body is wheaty/orange in color and not quite clear.

S - Delicious smooth hops. Some orange and floral scents. Sweet caramel malts.

T - Just a good balance of orange, grapefruit, banana, and cloves. Well rounded and smooth. The hops are so smooth and taste delicious.

M - Great carbonation on a medium body makes for a great pale ale.

O - A very smooth well balanced beer. Sure I like the Lagunitas yeast strand so I may be partial, but still great. Nice and hoppy but not bitter. Has a sweetness to it.

Appearance has a nice golden amber color supporting a thin dissipating head leaving fair lace. Smell has a nice balance of malt and hops bringing out a sweet citrusy aroma. Taste has that same balance with the sweet malt and hop that finishes clean. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. One of the better and easier drinking IPA's I've had in awhile.
