Enjoying a sixer of this excellent pale ale.

Pours a straw yellow gold with a fluffy white head that exhibits good retention.

Smells floral and taste really really good. This one is an Instant favorite. This beer makes me proud to be a native Californian born and raised.

Overall....try it....just try it.

A- Pours a nice orange amber color with a super creamy 1 finger head that hangs around for a while. Really nice, sticky lacing.
S- Strong, sweet citrus. Orange, Ruby Red grapefruit, pineapple, hints of toffee, dark fruits and bread.
T- Orange, grapefruit, and pine over a nice malt backbone. Slight booze. I don't pick up any wheat at all.
M- On the light side, more slick than creamy. Slightly oily finish with a touch of lingering bitterness.
O- This was pretty good. I get the feeling (or at least hope) that this bottle may have been a bit on the older side. I'll try again sometime in the future.

Pours a clear orange-tinged gold with over three inches of white head that clumpily settles to a suitable coating with some globs of creamy bubbles. Good retention; good lacing.

Citrus and dank, earthy hops with a strong malt backbone. Very good.

Soft and earthy. Strong malt/hop interplay makes for a full, cohesive flavor. Dark and sweet right off the bat, but it brightens up with a pronounced yeasty, slightly estery bite at the end.

Light to medium body with good carbonation. Slow, gentle finish.

Really enjoyable, interesting beer!
Nice looking and extremely fragrant from the second you open it. The taste was far more complex than I had anticipated but it is so "together" that it is a bit hard to accurately parse out. I think most of this, along with the bready bite comes from the wheat and is a testament to how much it brings various aspects of this beer together through its addition. Excellent example of what an ale is and what it can be.
Would have again; well worth finding.
