Appearance: orangey gold with great clarity and a thin white head

Aroma: toasted bread, biscuit, little bit of citrus but mostly pine hop notes with some lingering bitterness on the nose

Taste: toasty, but with prevalent hop bitterness that notes of pine and slight citrus, great bitter finish that lingers like the nose

Mouthfeel: medium carbonation, medium body, crisp, tingly

Overall: great beer that displays strong bitterness, with pine and a little citrus notes, but also exhibiting toasty and biscuity notes. Strong bitter finish and great nose overall.

A: Poured out a clear amber color with three fingers of pale yellow head. Great retention and lacing that draped down the glass

S: Huge pine, grapefruit, and tropical fruit scents.

T: Big pine up front, tropical fruit follows. Similar to the nose.

M: Medium carb and medium body. Nothing too crazy here.

O: One of my favorite pale ales to date. Almost could be considered an IPA. Probably why I like it so much. The only other beer I've had in these ranks is Oskar Blues Pale Ale.

Poured into snifter

A Orange/copper. Fat white head fades slow. Thick lacing down.

S Hops. Sugary malt. Citrus.

T Sweet caramel. Clove. Rich malt. Bitter hops.

M Full and chewy. Very Malty, fills up the mouth.

O One of my favorite beers. Sweet. Bitter. Heavy, yet easy drinking. A perfectly balanced ale. It has the Lagunitas hop profile and malt bill; just amped up a bit.
